At Avant-Garde College, we are dedicated to providing our students with the best education and hands-on experience in the world of hairstyling. Our program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in this exciting industry.

1. Personalized Salon Experience: 10,000 sqft..... You will have your dedicated hair station as a student in our program. This means you’ll have the opportunity to practice and perfect your hairstyling techniques in a real salon setting. Get ready to unleash your creativity and bring your unique vision to life!
2. Spacious Classrooms: A comfortable and inspiring learning environment is essential for success. Our spacious classrooms provide ample space to learn and grow, surrounded by like-minded individuals who share your passion for hairstyling.

4. Makeup Add-On: We added makeup, facial waxing, and manicures to our program as an exciting addition. This allows you to expand your skillset and become a well-rounded beauty professional. Admission requirements:

-High school transcript or General Education Development (GED).
-Students under 18 years of age require guardian consent.
-Photo identification and social insurance number.
-Over 19 years of age without grade 12 or GED, mature status may be considered, an entrance exam with a passing mark of 70%.

-A CAST Exam may be required if the applicant attended high school outside of Canada.

-We want to ensure that you’ve done your research before you register. Write and submit a report that includes your research on this career path and your goals after graduation.

 

 

Financial assistance: Avant-Garde is designated for student loan funding. Visit the Government of Saskatchewan website for more information about the Canada-Saskatchewan Integrated Student Loan program. 

Hairstyling dates: February, April, June, August, September, October & December 

Course Duration Full-Time - 1500 Hours: 40 Weeks
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm 
Thursday 12:30 p.m. - 8:00 pm

Course Duration Part-Time - 1500 Hours: 67 Weeks
Option Two - Monday to Wednesday: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm  

Fees: Registration Fee (payable at the time of registration): $200.00 *Registration fee is not a portion of the tuition amount and is non-refundable*
